Nouxtop

Guest house

The space previously used as a warehouse was renovated and finished for residential use.

The building's top and bottom floor and wall structures were insulated with pulp wool, and modern, straight pine panels were chosen for the interior surfaces.

The new soapstone fireplace and the air heating pump ensure the comfort of the space and the appropriate temperature.

Respecting the style of the building.

During the construction, our customers wanted to preserve as much of the old as possible. Consequently, the original windows were sanded and painted. We also installed new interior windows with thermal glass, improving the space's energy efficiency.

According to the building's original plans, two new windows were also added to the space, which enables a view to three different air directions.

The pine floor, made in the 70s from the plot's own trees, was dismantled during the work on the sub-base and reinstalled in the original style.

The electrical works were carried out by Zirox Oy.

The carpentry work was carried out by Vihdin Puutyö Oy
